neighborsgo, a section produced by The Dallas Morning News every Saturday, is planning a live blog on the first day of school, Aug. 25. The live blog will appear on dallasnews.com home page all day, under the official address, neighborsgoblog.dallasnews.com.
The DMN needs parents to send in their first day of school experiences, as well as photos, that we can post to the blog.
All Plano and Murphy parents can send their experiences and photos directly to Angela Chambers at achambers@dallasnews.com. The sooner you send them in on Aug. 25, the more likely she can get your experiences on our blog.
After the live blog, she plans to publish these experiences and photos in the Plano/Murphy and West Plano /neighborsgo/ print edition on Saturday, Aug. 30. All submissions must be received on Aug. 25 to make this print edition.
Remember — any photos of children you submit should have permission from the children’s parents to publish (all schools have a form for this contact your PTA president).
